Preview:

The reds have one slight injury worry leading up to the first home game of the season, against predictably.. Coventry City.
Darren Moore is suffering from an injury to his toe, and the reds await him hopefully being passed fit for the game. Promising youngster Luke Potter is set to deputise in the in the middle of the reds back four alongside Captain Steve Foster.

Hugo Colace is set to return after recovering from a calf strain, but should start on the bench, with Jacob Butterfield continuing in midfield alongside Anderson De Silva.

On the other extreme Davey's opposite number, Chris Coleman has a alot more injury concerns coming into the match at Oakwell, with several players awaiting late fitness tests.

They do have Sammy Clingan, Keiren Westwood, and Aron Gunnarsson back from International duty and they will go straight back into the squad.

Players definately out for the game at Oakwell are Winger David Bell (ankle), defender James McPake (shoulder) and lkeeper Danny Ireland (emergency bowel surgery) are all definitely unavailable.

Striker Clinton Morrison is struggling with a badly bruised foot and may not pass fit in time along with youngster Jordon Clarke who has an ankle injury. If Morrison does miss out, then that will be good news for the Barnsley back four, as we reckon that he could be top scorer by the end of the season.

Elliott Ward or Leon McKenzie are also added to the list of doubtful participants for the game.

Patrick van Aanholt should be back in after being cup-tied in midweek while new signing Martin Cranie could also feature at the back.

• Coventry have won nine of their last 13 league meetings with the Tykes, including the last three in south Yorkshire.
