Despite the excellent win away at Leicester, the Reds continue to be haunted by inconsistency. With Millwall who languish at the wrong end of the Championship taking the three points back to Bermondsey after a Henderson Hat-trick sealed the victory.

It was a disappointing day for the Reds, with some dodgy linesman decisions helping out for Millwall. But we should be winning games like these if we are ever to mount a serious push for a play off place. It was Darius Hendersons second hat-trick in two games as Millwall pulled clear of the relegation zone at the expense of Barnsley FC.
The referee awarded Millwall a penalty as Miles Addison was harshly ajudged to have brought down Liam Trotter, the penalty kick was taken by Henderson to put the Londoners in front.
Millwall had doubled their lead just three minute later, as it was beginning to look like not being our day. Following some good work by
Nadjim Abdou
he got the ball to Henderson who slotted past Luke Steele. His hat-trick came 15 minutes from time.
The Barnsley confidence wasn't at its highest for this game, as alongside losing captain Butterfield to injury, his direct and highly skilled replacement Danny Drinkwater made a shock move to Leicester City in midweek just a few days after his delivery assisted both goals at the Walkers stadium, snubbing the Reds at the same time, this is the thing we are up against as club... Leicester has more financial muscle due to rich benefactors and obviously money has been the factor once more for one more greedy footballer, which leaves the Reds minus one of the squads most talented. Very frustrating for any Reds supporter.
Millwall were hammered at home 6-0 by Brimingham last week, and unfortuately the back lash to that result came at Oakwell.
The Barnsley consolation came just before full time as Jim McNulty swept in from just inside the area. But we looked to be struggling at the heart of the team, missing the key midfielders and this obviously affected the delivery to the normally prolific front line.
Bobby Hassell had a very good headed opportunity from close range that went wide after some good work by Ricardo Vas Te which ended in a good cross from Jay McEveley. New signing Chris Dagnall also had a crack from 20 yards without success.
In the end Millwall looked too strong for us on the day, with the inspiration of ex-blade Darius Henderson, as he sealed his third hat-trick of the season. Our solitary goal came following a Vas Te run that put in Jim McNulty who happily fired in for only a consolation.
