Garry O'conner in permanent move to Reds.

Barnsley FC have secured the services of Garry O'Conner from Birmingham City, he has scored three goals for the Reds in the two month loan spells he has spent at Oakwell. This has now been secured as a signing. He looks like an handy striker to have on the books and looks to have improved the attacking options for Mark Robins as he seeks to claim a play off spot this season.

Barnsley FC have announced that they have agreed a deal to sign Garry O'Connor on a permanent contract till end of the season from Birmingham City, this will take place in the January transfer window following a successful couple of month stints on loan.

The 27-year-old Scottish international striker has scored three goals in eight games on loan for Barnsley and his signing gives the Tykes a big boost in the final third of an exciting season for the reds.
