Hammill wanted by Everton.

Everton it would be seem are the team that have lured Adam Hammill from Oakwell, reportedly putting in a £2m bid for the exciting young midfielder, most likely to move in January during the window, but there are hopes that he may see out the season with Barnsley FC.

The move will take Hammill back to his home city of Liverpool, but on the blue side.

It had been earlier rumoured in the press that West Ham manager Avram Grant was intending to move for Adam Hammill for £500,000.

Hammill has stated that he wants to help Barnsley FC gain promotion to the Premiership, I hope his loyalty withstands the tests that are sure to come from offers from Premiership teams. But as we know football and footballers can be very fickle things, but at present Hammill is a Barnsley player.

Hammill has attracted interest from a number of clubs including Blackpool, Wigan, Bolton, and now West Ham, all lower end Premiership clubs, but should imagine a bigger name will definately induce a move away from Oakwell.
