Barnsley 0 - Plymouth Arg. 0

MATCH PREVIEW :
Venue: Oakwell Date: Saturday, 20 December Kick-off: 1500 GMT
Coverage: Live commentary on BBC Radio Devon 95.7 FM, 801 MW and DAB digital radio.
Darren Moore back to bolster back line as the tykes must return to winning ways at home to Plymouth, or risk being sucked back into the relegation zone over the Christmas period.
I think we are up to it, after a couple of hard games on the road, its back to fortress Oakwell, the team will be fully aware themselves that we need to get back to winning ways, and rather than slipping in the relegation mire, we can hopefully keep an eye on the play off positions. There are any number of teams in the Championship who could put a run together and get into the play-offs this season.
The two promotion spots are now between just three teams, Birmingham, Wolves and Reading, its up to the rest of the division to fight for the scraps.
Patrick Cryne has stated in the press recently that money will be available for Simon Davey to strengthen in January. With most peoples wishes for the January sales being a good quality striker, replacing the quality that we lost when Iain Hume was assualted on the Oakwell pitch.

Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock will remain with striker Steve MacLean as Emile Mpenza (knee) is sidelined and ex-Barnsley man Rory Fallon is suspended.
