Barnsley 1 - Wolves 1

PREVIEW:
MATCH REVIEW:
Newly promoted Wolves are our final opponents at Oakwell this season, with Barnsley boy, and hero Mick McCarthy bringing his team to Barnsley, and a moment when points haven't been more crucial for the reds. To add to the enormity of the task a bug as laid low Darren Moore, influential Adam Hammill, and Captain Steve Foster, so the first choice centre backs are both out.
We realistically need all 3 points from our final home game, otherwise we could be facing a final day 6 pointer at Plymouth. Should we fail to win wolves and Norwich get a result at play off chasing Reading, then it would be out of our hands on the final day of the season, even if we get a result.
One thing is certain we need the reds to turn up for the game, and put in one of their better performances against the wanderers, we haven't had a more important game at Oakwell for a few years. Its important too that the reds fans think about they're own perfomance and give the reds that 12th man, by constant positive backing from the first minute.
Come on you reds!
Barnsley will be looking to secure vital points against already promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Tykes are two points better off than third-from-bottom Norwich with two games remaining, with six clubs fighting to escape the final relegation spot following the Football League's decision to deduct 10 points from Southampton for going into administration.
Barnsley have been hit by a virus in the run-up to the clash at Oakwell. Captain Steve Foster missed the midweek draw with Coventry and since then the bug has spread to on-loan winger Adam Hammill and Darren Moore, meaning the trio will miss the match.
Bobby Hassell and Rob Kozluk have both struggled with knocks picked up at Coventry, but manager Simon Davey is hoping they will recover in time.
Maltese striker Michael Mifsud missed Tuesday's clash with his parent club due to loan restrictions, but is set to return and partner midweek scorer Daniel Bogdanovic.
Davey has a dilemma in goal as he decides whether to put Luke Steele or Heinz Muller between the posts.
Wolves will be without top scorer Sylvan Ebanks-Blake for the trip to Barnsley as they look to secure the Championship title.
Despite being six points clear, with a superior goal difference, of second-placed Birmingham, Wolves will be going out to get at least the point they require to secure the title.
Ebanks-Blake will be missing with a recurrence of his back problem, whilst David Jones has a sore knee.
Scottish striker Chris Iwelumo will miss the rest of the season as he recuperates from knee ligament damage.
Joining him on the sidelines for the rest of the campaign are winger Michael Kightly (metatarsal), George Elokobi (knee) and goalkeeping duo Carl Ikeme (back) and Matt Murray (knee.)
