Wolves march on, Reading get an important win at Birmingham to jump above their promotion rivals into the second spot. At the other end Forest get an important win away at Southampton.
Noel Hunt, Kevin Doyle and Kalifa Cisse were all got one as Reading moved above Birmingham and into second place with a 3-1 victory at St Andrews.
Sheffield United and Crystal Palace remain sixth and seventh in the Championship table respectively following a thrilling 2-2 draw at Bramall Lane. James Beattie's late penalty looked like giving The Blades all three points but Nick Carle got an equaliser at the death to snatch a point.
